I’m 25, he’s 27. We’re both engineers (I’m structural, he’s chemical).

While I was getting my masters, I had to work a part time shitty job, so I wasn’t making a lot of cash. We live together, but back then he was adamant about each one of us having our own money and splitting the bills. I was totally okay with that.

But now that I’m finished studying, I have a really good job. He’s in a stable job and his wages are good, just not as good as mine. All of a sudden, he thinks having separate accounts makes no sense and that we shouldn’t see it as “my money” or “his money”, just our money and our bills.

This wouldn’t be an issue for me had it not been so different when I was in a worse place financially. Also whenever I talk about work he seems to get in a mood and gets very quiet. This makes me upset because I think it speaks volumes about his character. I’m seriously considering dumping him. What do I do?

I wonder how users on here, especially the guys, feel about getting objectified. How would a man feel if I say something like 'you would make a sexy police officer'? Does it depend on who says it? Does it depend on your mood or values?

We had an argument over the phone today about his gym, his photos and all that and he was getting all moody and angry
And then he said "I put myself first. I love myself first. You dont come first. I care about myself more. I dont care about you. Relationships come and go and I will always be the same person."
And then I got really upset and started getting teary and said "so you dont care about me? Thats fucked up"
And then he got abit soft and said "Im saying right now coz you're pissing me off right now. Im going to gym. Bye"
And then we hanged up
Then 3 hours later after he finished gym, he tried calling me 5 times
And then I picked up
And then this is our conversation:
Him - babe i just called to say im sorry for whatever i said. I didn't mean it. I was pissed off. Im sorry if i said anything wrong and made you upset. You know i have been training hard and working a lot and everything so i get mad easily nowadays and getting these mood changes. I know its not an excuse but one of the reasons why i said all that to you. You know i love you and care about you. You know i show it as well
Me - but you made me so upset when you said those things to me earlier
Him - yeah i know thats why im apologizing. Im really sorry babe. I love you babe. I really do. I mean it. I wanna be with you. I hate arguing you. We gotta stop fighting over dumb shit if we want to have future together.
Do you think he's genuine about it?
Should i forgive him for what he said to me? Or dump him?
Do u think he meant what he said he was angry or just heat of the moment?
Would he have called me after if he didn't give a shit?
