So the quick and dirty of it is this:

There’s this new girl that I’ve known for about the past 2-3 months. Initial impression – didn’t think much of it. But she started hanging out a lot with me and my group of friends and we both realize that we both share dry, sarcastic humor.

Now, I’ve been told from people that have known her longer that she is normally this way with most people but nowhere near to the extent she is with me. To my nice, shy friend she is very kind and joking. But with me, she lays it on pretty hard.

Initially we were both pretty outgoing and open in how flirtatious we were. But people that weren’t even too close to her started to ask her if anything was going on between us. She insisted that there wasn’t anything going on and responded by asking my close friend if there was anything going on on my end. But to her close female friend, she apparently told her that she did know and wanted to remain friends and that she wasn’t looking for a relationship at the moment. But since then, she has scaled back on being obviously flirty and friendly.

However, she still hangs around me and doesn’t really seem to show any disinterest in being with me or around me and still likes to make these little sarcastic remarks about how not funny I am, or to put down the idea that I’m cute.

Whenever we play games or anything competitive, she’ll make a passing comment saying that I’m dumb, I don’t know what I’m talking about, or will tell the other plays that we have “make him lose!”

I am a bit confused, because I’m sure that she has to know that I was/am interested in her… but she never responded in a negative way or tried to create distance between us.

She’s also said herself and I heard from her friend that she likes to test/push people and because she treats me the “worst

i think there is nothing better then somone with a good sense of humor so on a scale of 1-10 how good are you at taking a joke :D
