I met this really great girl & we went out for one date. She said I was great that night & told me she hoped we could do it again soon. When I asked her for another date, she said she was really busy with work & that when her work trip was over, she would get back to me but she never did. I sent her flowers and received no response. Our date was on the last day of April this year. After several months of not hearing from her, I still had not forgotten about her & still liked her & wanted to know what was up, so I texted her & told her that I couldn't get her out of my mind & wanted to know what had happened to her. She texted me back and replied that she couldn't believe I still felt that way about her after all those months and that she had met her soul mate, so to speak - that they were very much in love & that she was flattered that I really liked her but that she was no one special. I am wondering why a woman would say something like that to a guy? Was it her way of saying she wasn't really interested, or does a woman really mean that she doesn't think she's good enough for him? Another woman said the same thing to me recently - It made me feel like I wasn't good enough for her but that she really didn't want to come out and say she wasn't interested. Can any chicks (or guys) out there help me decipher what she meant by this and why chicks say that?
