So my classmate and I were getting along very well and always cracked jokes and after some time we started having deeper conversations. He and other classmates always make jokes about me in school to annoy me but he is the only one who would be careful not to offend me. During that time and until today we always had a heart on snapchat what means we talk to each other the most out of all our contacts.

A few days ago he told me that lately our conversations were going nowhere and that he wants to break off the contact. I was very sad but said it‘s okay if he feels like that‘s better.

The next day he told me that his last text yesterday was a little bit too harsh and that he wants to tell me a joke. We‘ve continued texting the next days.

On April 1st he told me he had a crush on me but because he was going on a trip with our class until next Wednesday i just wouldn‘t believe him. I told him that I was overwhelmed and didn‘t know what to say. He told me that I didn‘t have to say anything an later he told me "april fools!". I thought he reacted like that because I didn‘t say that I like him back so I confessed to him in the evening. His response was that he would never date me because he wouldn‘t want to have a awkward atmosphere in class. After talking for a while he said it was best to break everything off. I told him that I would miss our conversation and he told me so too.

Yesterday however he contacted me again on snapchat. First they were just plain pictures and the he started asking me how I was and told me that he also didn‘t feel that well. The he asked me how long I was going to be awake because he wanted to talk to me about something and I told him that I would wait but sadly I fell asleep.

Today in the morning I asked him what he wanted to talk to me about and that I fell asleep. He replied "It doesn‘t matter anyway". I asked him to tell me and he just said it was about the trip. But I don‘t believe him.

I have a crush on my Cousin who's not really my cousin. His mom married my dad's uncle. This was a long time ago. I had a crush on him back then but got over it. But now that we are both older I find myself crushing on him, and i know he has feelings for me too.. kinda.
He's having marriage issues with his wife. And has 3 kids. I feel like I'm setting myself up for a heart break.

I guess I'm asking to see if I'm the only one. And also your opinion as to if I should tell him I'm catching feels...
