I'm not Black or White, and my girlfriend is Black, from Nashville. I'm from Ca. I met her online, and we've been talking for over a year, long distance. She has a 5 yr old son, she'll be 22 next week. She grew up doing some street life stuff that she now regrets and is changing for a better life. I've been a pretty smug player type for a while. I'm going to fly them out here soon. She's asked me about getting married, doesn't completely know how player ish I had been before. On her profile it said she was 5'6, 160. Recently she told me how she'd gained a little weight. We talked a few nights ago and I remembered something, so I half joked about there being 1 rule when we meet... NO black leggings! She giggled and goes..."but whyyy?" I wanted to lie, but I figured if I was honest, she might go easy. I said, "awgh, cuz ur thicc asf😩!" She goes, "Ha HAAAA!😊😊😊I WILL!" I was like, "nooo! Damnit!" She said, "it's the baby weight!😊" What I DIDN'T tell her, was that with the way I've been before, her being thicc and in black leggings... will not only make it IMPOSSIBLE for me to ignore and keep my jaw from dropping hard, it'll destroy my ego fr. What do u think she'll do out of these choices, and which should I do, cuz now I'm worried asf😕.

I think the feeling of remorse is what makes us humans, a sign to know our faults, to fix them, to learn, etc... but I've met some people who hold onto remorse more than they should, some not at all (they regret nothing "Don't care about the others"), and some in between.

I personally believe in a saying that goes "never regret anything, because at that specific moment, you wanted so badly to do it" but believing in this saying, doesn't mean that i won't apologise or fix my mistakes.
