So I've been dating this guy on and off for two+ years, earlier this year we got back together and he asks me to move in with him with him I suggested we continue to see where things were later in the year before taking that step. He spends most of his time busy with work to the point I felt alone in the relationship... it was more times apart than with each other. I got frustrated with the lack of attention and started dating other people. He recently reached out to me, wanting me back, and to not give up on us, he asked again for me to move in with him. I'm seriously clueless, I do love him but doubt his seriousness of committing to the relationship. He says he will change and show more actions than words. He asked to meet face to face to talk, I didn't have transportation to get there and made mention in a text conversation to him that my battery for my car were dead and my tires were baled. He went ahead and purchased me a new battery and 4 new tires and deliverd them to my house. I don't know if I should trust what he says... would like for the men to shed some light on this. Ladies also if you have children would you move in?

My best friend has been in love with me for 8 years. I've known for 3 years but am not attracted to him that way [you know the drill - to make it short, I am what they nowadays label as 'a friendzoning evil bitch'] and told him so very clearly, as to not create further expectations. 2 years ago I got into a relationship, I still am very in love, he still won't meet the guy out of spite. When loneliness got to him he got a girlfriend and he expects me to meet her. She knows the truth about his feelings for me (I am not sure she knows they're still there, but I know and that's strange enough) and has already tried to manipulate him by saying all kinds of crap about me even though we haven't met. Ironically enough that's what he did about my boyfriend too. When she came to visit him the last time (she lives in another city) they invited me over one night, but I had a lot of work to do and couldn't go. She got upset and my friend acted awkwardly which made her conclude I was avoiding her. She wouldn't let it go for days afterwards and fought with my friend over this until I made contact with her, so this nonsense would finally stop. I kindly explained, introduced myself and eversince, she's been writing to me daily, she reacted dubiously friendly. He talks about me often when they're together and she said she was very 'curious'. I should probably mention she'll be moving in with my friend, who's in love with me, but who feels guilty about being with her under these circumstances, so he tries to help out (she wanted to move out of her town and kinda needs financial support). My expectations are that he will probably never really love her but he will manage to distance himself from me, which may be for the best. At least we won't see each other almost daily like we do now. However, I am clueless as to how to act when she's there, I'll meet her soon. I am aware that she sees me as a threat, but still I wonder if it's possible for things to ever be genuinely friendly.
