A while back my friend and I got into an argument, I don't recall it being anything serious but enough to piss us both off. I ended up texting her the next day, just trying to move on from it and she never texted me back. She had already been kind of leaving me hanging in the weeks prior so it was something that was already bothering me. To my knowledge, we never had any problems of text messages getting lost in cyberspace and it was later confirmed to me by her that she did in fact recieve that particular message, she just could not respond.

It was a total of about 8 to 9 days before she decided to respond to my communication attempt. While I do acknowledge that she had a lot going on in her life (divorce, work, kids, and a troubled relationship) I honestly refuse to believe that within 8 days, she could not find one minute of her time to respond to a text. I just cannot fathom in my mind that anyone could ever be so busy so as not to find a spare minute within 192 hours.

That's basically the cause of this entire falling out we've had.

She insists I've got my head up my ass because I believe that the world revolves around me and that people are obligated to respond to me promptly and I simply believe that it's a bullsh*t story that she was so busy. I'm a busy guy too, and granted I don't always reply within the hour or even day that someone texts me but I never leave them hanging, especially not for over a week!

So gag, am I right in thinking that no one could be so physically busy so as not to find the time to text back to someone who is supposedly really important to them in over a weeks worth of time or is she right in thinking that I'm an a**hole for not understanding she was so busy?

as in, if someone were to ask you, "what would you do if ____ happened?"

would you be able to say accurately what would happen? what your reaction would be?

or would you say, "i'm not really sure, it'd have to actually happen"

there are situations where I would say, I don't know what I'd do, and there are others where I have no doubts about what I'd do.

but I don't believe anyone can ever truly know themselves completely.

i've seen it time and time again, people say they'll react one way, and end up doing the opposite. or they just lie.

so with me, I'd have to say I know myself like a 7/10.

lots of things in my mind are still a complete mystery to me.

the way I think is hard to predict because I think the randomest sh*t ever.

and the more I learn about psychology, the more I question myself.

but what about you, GAG people?

There's a lot of people here on GaG with photos of other people than themselves. It's a bit deceiving, especially when they're posting pics of non-famous people as their profile pic. Obviously you know she's not Jennifer Aniston, but when she posts a picture of Jane Doe you're led to believe it's her, are you not?

I'm all for freedom of choice, but is this type of perspective manipulation wrong?

Ironically the moto of GaG is something like "get HONEST answers" though most of them, like.. 90% and up actually are anything but honest!

I've noticed a few trends here, the Nr.1 thing flying around here is "be confident" and "have a good personality" and "looks don't really matter that much" that goes for both genders.

But hey, take a look at the Reality check and damn you won't believe your eyes, there guys bash girls with unbelievable cruelty especially those who look bad, but really pretty ones get high scores and positive(and borderline to perverted) comments even if the date description indicates sucky and boring date!

So why lie so much on the questions & answers? To make other people feel better about themselves? So why such bashing to the SAME girls on the Reality check?

I'll admit it's not the bashing I'm opposed to but it's the lies and hypocrisy I despise about all this!

Yes, I know that YOU, the reader of this question prepare to make an answer something like "But I make only honest answers always" and so on, but you can post anonymously if you're up to reveal what all this crap is about!

So just for a fun I'll make a poll, do you lie here or always post honestly? I'm interested in the results but I already gotta feeling what they may look like!
