The rules of the Jump are simple:
1. Jumps are instant, taking only seconds to call, but you only get one in your entire life.
2. You will go exactly where you want to, without risk of being merged with an inanimate object where you rematerialize
3. You can only carry the clothes on your back and whatever objects you are carrying in your hands. You can't, say, put your hands on a car and take it with you.
4. You cannot carry an unwilling person with you through your Jump. If they have used their Jump already, they cannot come with you (so if you Jump your spouse to your vacation destination, they can't Jump both of you back home).

With those ground rules in place, can you think of any time in your life you would already have used your Jump, or would you still be hanging onto it? You can use it for anything, from getting out of a boring class, to abandoning your car in traffic to make it to the hospital in time for your child's birth, to escaping from a crashing plane. Would you have burned your Jump on an impulsive decision that you think you'd have come to regret later?
