Search Results: how far do i pursue her

I've known this girl for about three years now throughout that time we have been good friends. During the first year we talked a lot and a few months after she broke up with her boyfriend. I did not want to feel like the guy that broke them up or anything so it never crossed my mind to ask her out. About six months ago when I went to her birthday party the Uber driver said that it looked like she loved me. That night I asked her out only to get her mad cause I told her I did it cause the Uber driver told me it looked like she loved me. She admitted to liking me before and wanting to get with me but says that now she would prefer to be just friends cause she wouldn't hate it if we break up. I've recently tried to take her out to some fun places and tired to ask her out again (three more so far) which she rejects or avoids severely. She very recently (a few weeks) started calling me dear but I've read on this site it might just be a friend kind of term that Asian's commonly use. I have it set that the baseball kiss cam will be on us just to see if she would do that (tell me if this is a good idea or not). My question is should I keep trying to pursue her in this manner? Is their any other way to change my approach? Should I just be comfortable with just being friends?

"The current 18-25 yr old are much more interesting. this is a) the first generation that grew up with "tinder" to hit 30, and b) the first generation that SAW the people 10+ year older fail with their "career women" path.

so what will their take be? From my observations i think most of them are actively pursuing a hedonistic lifestyle, where they just study and sleep around with men who come from well off families, move to a big city to look for rich guys, take a corporate job and then try to magically end up with a big bucks guy so they can be a stay at home mom. I see far and very little women of this generation with career ambitions"

This was a response to the article taken by a Yale Post grad student:

"Yep. This is what I've seen as well for this generation. Funny thing is it will probably work. When I went to Yale as a grad student I met a lot of girls with this exact strategy. One girl was so gold digger it knocked me off my legs. It was so painfully obvious. And she constantly had cravings to cheat. She would have cheated with me but I didn't want the drama.


Even one of the best female students in class when I asked her if she married rich would she work she said no. Its painfully obvious this is what they are going for. This is also why girls overwhelmingly want to go to rich schools. By going their they increase the chances of finding a rich guy to get with."

And another comment from the article:

"I know a girl exactly like this too. Went to a good university, went into investment banking and two years later got pregnant twice to a managing director, and is now a stay at home mom.


She was pretty, and she knew what she was doing. Can't fault it really."

Do you think the majority of women are just going into good schools and high profession careers so they can position themselves to a rich guy and set themselves up to be stay at home mothers?
