Search Results: ready for commitment

I had this thing with a guy, but when it started to get more serious I just stopped talking to him and avoided him, and now it has been a year or so and when we see each other we say hi but we don't really talk. But I would like to try to get him back. I started ignoring him because I was scared of a commitment, but I feel like I am ready now, what should I do? Just give up and try to move on, or should I tell him why I had stopped talking to him? Do I even have a chance anymore?

I've been dating my bf for over a year now and things have been going slow, mainly cause its his choice. Im not looking for a bf but when you fall for someone really strong, you want to be with them and only with them. Its hard to keep it casual with someone you are in love with. He's also told me that he is crazy about me but he can't fully commit to me cause of other priorities. So I told him okay thats fine but we need to establish some boundaries in order to avoid drama such as we can't talk or be with anyone else, we keep each other in the loop of each other's lives, and other things. So thats how we have been for this whole time but I'm starting to think is he using me? We already act like a couple but he doesn't want to say he's in a committed relationship yet cause that would mean he's acting like a full-time bf. I don't mind if he's not all over me 24/7 especially we're long distance. But he still refuses to embrace the fact we're a real couple.

I've heard stories where she does wait for him and it does work out cause he was all she wanted but the timing was wrong so she simply waited. But there's also stories where he might be just using/playing w the girl and she's wasting her time cause if he's not ready now, he never will be.

So what do I do? Its been over a year. I'm not interested in anyone else. We're fine, no huge problems except little disagreements here and there. The only huge problem is our status.
