I talked to both her mom and dad, and they both seem to like me a lot.

She lives in another state. She is already wanting me to come see her, although I thought it would be best to wait. Her parents are fine with me seeing her.

She is a devout Catholic and homeschooled. Her mother talked to me about the importance of marriage. If I were to eventually marry her, it is a requirement I convert to Catholic.

So I met a girl last night and we started chatting for a few hours before I had to go to bed. 4 hours after I planned to. Anyway, she lives over a thousand miles away from me. So for awhile, at least, our relationship will be mostly over the phone or internet. My last, and only previous, long distance relationship I knew her for months before it went long distance. So I was curious when you should start talking about kids and sex with someone who you've only texted with? As both issues for me are deal breakers; I want kids and I am waiting until marriage and I am looking for someone that wants the same things.

I'm not talking about contraception within marriage or outside of marriage. I am talking about contraception at all.

Do you think these acts are righteous or sinful? If you think both are sinful, explain why! If both are righteous, what makes them righteous acts? If just 1 of them is sinful, which 1 and why?

Also, do you think this often goes hand in hand? As in if someone views premarital sex as okay, that they'd also deem contraception usage as okay?
