Because it would be inconvenient. People who are overweight would be too big to walk through the airplane properly, without touching people or having to walk sideways.

But on the other hand, would it be discrimination? Why wouldn't overweight people have the right to be a steward/stewardess while everyone else can?

I'm asking this because I once was in an airplane with an overweight stewardess. She couldn't walk properly on the corridor through the seats, causing her to sometimes accidentely wake someone asleep. Also, I could see that she wouldn't be able to demonstrate the safety instructions, other flight attendants did that. Because the corridor would be too small for her to do so.

What's your opinion?

I played video games since 2 from family computer to pc to laptop. Nintendo Wii to ipad to tablet.
I played with my brother he is satisfied even many or most of de days I'm his playmate.
It feels so good because there's no discrimination.
I also played every w/ my bro n two older boys cousin s n beat them all! There are times I beat my bro there are tyms he beats me.
It would be perfect if my knight make tym for me playing pc when my family had again. And I never had classmates n friends play pc games, boys especially girls.
My childhood playmates , friends n my Big n little sis cousins only play girly games.

Affirmative Action is something that was created in the United States in 1961 that basically eliminates discrimination based on race (ethnicity), gender, creed, religion, medical issues, and other things for things such as wages, jobs, and school admissions.

Some people want to get rid of Affirmative Action because they believe it discriminates against the majority (mainly whites, sometimes white males) because they argue many businesses and schools go out of their way to actively hire women and minorities to meet diversity requirements, sometimes even discounting credentials altogether. This is something that really hasn't been proven too much but mostly speculated based on personal experience.

Those who support Affirmative Action believe it has leveled out the playing field and that the majority (again, whites) simply doesn't want to share the power because prior to Affirmative Action, white men were the most desirable employees and students due to the idea of racial superiority. Supporters now believe the majority wants it to disappear so they can compete with less people for jobs and admissions. Essentially, the majority want whites to rule like they did since America's founding up through the mid 1950's to early 1970's.

Has Affirmative Action made us less equal or do white people just want it to be easier for them to get jobs/school admissions like it was in the 50's?

Do you think it's natural for certain jobs to have a higher number of men, & other jobs to have a higher number of women?

The other day, I saw something that said "there's no reason that babysitters shouldn't be 50% men" and it reminded me of a scientist, a few years ago, saying "women make up 50% of the population, so I see no reason for them not to make up 50% of scientists."

What if there IS a reason? What if the male gender simply has a higher number of people who want to become scientists, & the female gender simply has a higher number of people who want to become babysitters/caregivers?

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with women who want to become scientists & men who want to become babysitters. They should be given as much of a chance of someone of the other gender.

But my point is that even if we removed all discrimination (which we should) I do believe that men would be overrepresented in certain jobs & women in others, and I see no problem with that.
