Search Results: does my gay friend like me

I know of several cases where either a straight girl has fallen for another girl or straight guy has fallen for another guy. In both cases, they said they had fallen for that specific person. I was wondering if this is also true for gay guys? Have any of you ever fallen for or been attracted to a specific girl? I also ask because one of my gay guy acquaintences recently wanted to get lunch with me. He took me to a very fancy and expensive place, paid the bill, and ended up spending six hours talking and hanging out with me. He paid special attention to details (going to a restaraunt that fit my dietary restrictions, kept from cussing because he thought I wouldn't like it even though he uses it a lot normally, so on), listened to what I was saying the entire time, etc. I have other good gay guy friends, but none of them have ever gone to this much trouble for me or put this much effort when we go out to eat. He also opened up to me about stuff he said he normally never does. Guys-- does this sound normal to you, or do you think he might possibly like me as more than just a friend?

basically i have a gay best friend - a dude. we have been friends for 9 years now and done a few trips together - well that was before i met the man i love. a year ago i met him and my world changed. i was actually on a trip with my best friend when it happened.

lately my best friend is acting so bitchy and selfish. normally he's pretty good at asking how i am and all that - but lately its all about him. given, his father passed away last year - i flew over to germany where he lives and attended the funeral and gave him support - i was the only friend that came. ironically, im the one he is sort of punishing and ignoring now.

he's met my man numerous times and i guess they were somewhat competitive? they have had a few little arguments and I've tried not to interject as i resepct that they are each individuals. but lately i feel like he's just being mean to hurt me. i have always been there for him and my own father has cancer - and he hardly checks in. my partner got sick a while ago and he would never ask unless i brought it up.

now - he tells me 'oh sorry, just so busy' and that he's coming over in may - well, he didn't even ask my plans or if i can do that - just tells me.

in his apartment, there's pics of me and him on our trips - everywhere. and this year he made a 2015 calendar with pics of just us. sometimes i feel like he does it or is doing it, just to say 'she's mine' or...maybe im off. i dont know just feels weird. and sometimes he will totally spoil me...once on a trip in italy i woke up and he was in the room just staring and smiling at me - it was the first time i felt uncomforatble - and vowed not to travel with him alone again - and i never have.

So, I've never had the best luck with guys. I try to be careful with who I let into my life. I believe in being friends first and some how I still end up with a lying loser. 1 guy stole money from me, 1 was hiding a girlfriend at another campus, 2 was married, 1 might be gay, 2 said they were leaving their girlfriends, but failed to mention a new one was already setup, & this last one scares me a little, he's quiet but he gets aggressive. Men who are married/engaged/involved are drawn to me.

These guys are from different stages in my life. They are all educated, age ranges 25-32, & different races, I don't discriminate lol!

I'm at my breaking point. I have yet to have an adult relationship & have been abstinent for 8yrs, because I have yet to meet an unselfish trustworthy guy. At this point I'm ready to accept just about anyone. I want the experience of trying to maintain a relationship.
