Search Results: looking in the mirror a lot

I think my guy friend might like me, and I really like him but I'm afraid he will reject me, here's the facts:

-We used to work together and I would always catch him looking at me
-He touches my arm a lot and makes eye contact while doing so
- he teases me a lot
-Mirrors my movements and ny language
- drives an hour to spend time with me alone
-Before when he had a gf he would talk about her with everyone but me, including other female friends
- compliments me a lot
-Confides in me and asks for my advice on like job related stuff
-Occasionally texts me but not a lot
-I usually have to reach out to him, but he seems happy to talk to me and always agrees to hang out
- a close female mutual friend said that he isn't the pursuing kind, so I would need to ask him
- he has acted nervous around me, which is pretty out of character for him
- we have a lot in common and I feel like we balance each other... it's really easy being around him if that makes sense
- He lost his job a couple months ago and his gf (who was weird any way... so I hear, and LD) broke up with him
- he would notice when other guys checked me out and when guys would flirt with me

I'm pretty scared when I'm home alone.

#1 The basement is scary because the boiler room is there and that contraption makes lots of strange noises :( I typically run up the stairs from the basement and then always look back because... I don't know. There might be something there :x

#2 The dining room is scary because one side is purely windows. Anyone can look in and see everything, but it's super hard to see what's outside when it's night time. It's black right now.

#3 The sitting room. There's a huge mirror, my piano, and the fireplace. When it gets super windy, you can hear the sounds through the fireplace and it's pretty eerie.

#4 My dad's room. He's a 65 year old man who somehow thought it was appropriate to stick a humongous James Bond (Sean Connery) poster on the wall. The first time I was passing by his room and saw it, I screamed. All I saw was what looked like a man holding a gun. My dad thought that was hilarious. It was not.

#5 The guest room. There is a strange teddy bear on the bed. Enough said.

#6 My mom's bedroom. She has a rocking chair in there. Enough said.

#7 The bathroom. Huge mirror. I wear contacts/glasses so when I get out of the shower, I can't really see that well and so the darker towels sometimes look like cloaked figures :x Many a time, my heart has almost popped out of my chest due to that illusion. Also... if anyone has read The Shining... you know what worries me about bathrooms :x

#8 My room. The closet never seems to close all the way...

I'm only truly scared when I'm home alone. I like reading/watching scary things, but I really get into it too much and start applying it to my own life. Typically after watching something scary, I can only sleep in 15-30 minute increments for about 3-4 hours each night. With the lights completely on. Sigh. I really should just... avoid such things.
