with that being said, i think its a good idea for us to finally stop talking. i dont have to tell you how i feel bc I've been honest this whole time. but im sure that by now, you see what i mean. I've finally decided that instead of going through this cycle over and over again, i should leave.
i know too much. i feel too much. a friendship between us wouldn't make sense anyway. i guess i always knew that, even tho it was something i wanted, but i wanted it for all the wrong reasons. i wanted to have you around (but i didnt), i wanted to gain closure (but i didnt), and i wanted you to come back (but you didnt).
unfortunately i held on&accepted things with hopes that you would find that there was still something here.
altho its part of what hurt the most, im proud of you for sticking with your decision. that takes a lot of maturity&im sure it wasn't always easy. but, you did what you had to do to be happy and thats all i ever want for you.
I don't know how many times i wrote this same letter to you, then hit you up days later. I've been so afraid of losing you, but im (finally) understanding that i been lost you. but, just like when you wanted to break up with me but you kept talking about us going on a break, i guess i had to just keep doing this til i was sure.

Im trying not to act on my immediate feelings while also disregarding some info his close friend gave me; which was basically that he's not with his rebound (but ex has told me that they were just having sex, never in a relationship)& "just know, he's getting his life together". What would you guys do?

After 3 months of being broken up, finally for the first time we spoke over the phone. For the second time, our conversation didn't become an all out fight. We were able to somewhat get out some of our feelings about the relationship And break-up. Ofcourse when we get off the phone I think of all the woulda, shoulda, could've said. Couple days have past and I still have unanswered questions and confused. 1. He said he still cares ( he got mad cause I ignored him for a few weeks to heal) 2. He asked am i dating and if I've tried. (I didn't ask him, don't really care) 3. he kept saying was I not dating because of him. And that I shouldn't be hurt because break ups happen. 4. He would say "are you ok? I want you to be ok. I need for you to just tell me your ok. It's Just A BREAK up".5. Last he'd say "I don't know why I want to talk I just do. And i want to know what are you wanting"... I feel like the conversation ended so open ended. I don't really know what to make of it. I want to get a clear understanding of what he is wanting but don't really want to text first. Don't want to give into his male ego. Like ooooooh she's coming back. So whats your opinions, advice, and should I text him or not. He's always been the one to start the conversation. Being that I'm trying to move on.

Is it normal for a guy to be rude and hurtful about it?

This guy talked to me for over three hours one night, telling me about his past and opening about things he normally doesn't share, and afterwards, always tried to find excuses to hang out with me. He would flirt a lot even though there were other girls around and I would catch him staring at me when he thought I wasn't aware.
He would also get irritated when I would talk about other guys in my life, particularly one really successful guy I had been talking to last year. He mentioned something about not being all that but "I know how to please a woman" is what he said before looking right at me intently. In anycase, I eventually started liking him and figuring he returned the feelings, told him about it. I don't normally do this and got really nervous, telling him he had helped me get over the guy from last year and basically making excuses for why I felt the way I did. He knows I've never done this before but instead of being understanding and realizing I was nervous-- I mean my voice was shaking and I felt like crying-- he said he was sorry I felt that way. He said he flirts with everyone and I wasn't an exception to the case. He told me he didn't go for girls like me. He said I was a good person but he didn't find me attractive. And then he claimed I was infatuated with him and questioned how I could really like him. He wouldn't even look at me while he said all this and looked really tense the entire time.

I've never been turned down before and most guys usually approach me first so I'm curious to know, is this normal guy behavior for when you all aren't interested in a girl?
