So there's this guy I've known somewhat over this past year. He's in a local band here, he plays drums & I'm pretty good friends with his cousin who is the frontman of the band. I started to like him when he recognized me the 2nd time I came around & I was kind of shocked he even knew my name (but I had just added him on Facebook not horribly long before that) He then said hey & my name & then hugged me. He's super sweet like that. I heard he was planning on moving out of state but then their band had a bigger show for the first time in 6 months or so this past Saturday evening in a competition so our group of friends all got together to go. Some were from out of town even.

Anyways, I catch him staring a little but I chalked it up to he was just in the conversation with everyone right. I offered him a drink of my whiskey drink & he liked it. I had to leave the after party early to take our friend home cause her car was broke down but I also had to work the next day so I didn't get to see him (he hadn't gotten there yet) So I sent him a message on fb saying sorry we had missed each other basically. He said it was cool etc etc then I said we'd have to hangout before he moves if he still does & his response was "we will definitely get together before all that madness!" So last night the other 2 guys in the band plus 3 others were going to dinner & they invited me so I assumed this guy was going (he however wasn't able to go but I didn't know until I got there) I sent him a message asking where he was at. He replied as soon as he got it & said he had gotten caught up & he was just then getting home. I replied saying its all good, I was just hoping to see him. He then replied "we'll catch up soon!!" (I'm pretty sure he had to get to bed for work today) Is he just being nice or am I just wishing & hoping up the wrong tree? I felt like maybe he could be interested because he did actually reply when he got the message. But maybe he is just sweet? Thanks you guys!

I met him two weeks ago through a mutual friend. We didn't talk much a few words here and there that day and when our group seperated he was the only one not hugging me goodbye.
When I came home he added me on facebook so I jokingly texted what an honor for him to add me :) he replied and we are talking ever since that day, everyday. Lately after one coffee he started to ask me to come over to his place for a movie, but im not ready to do it, if that is what he has in mind.
If I do not message him, he texts me. But he never asks about my day, rather we talk about topics we left on or about other stuff. I won't deny that there is no sexual tension. There is. And we naturally flirt with eachother, it just spontaneously happens.
Im confused if he is toying with me or is he genuinely interested in me. We are gonna go on another coffee tomorrow. But I do not wish to invest my feelings and time just to be a booty call.
Any advice?
