Bored i downloaded tinder and clearly stated that what i was 'looking for' was someone to chat with and maybe become friends. I matched with a guy 2 years older who is a foreign student like myself and we both don't speak the counties language only English and or native tounge. I made it obvious i was only looking for a friend after a good somewhat long conversation on instagram he asked if we could meet this weekend. I was taken by surprise and offered to meet after the both our exam periods but that would be over a month so by the end of our conversation i said id reconsider and when the timing was right i tried to say that i was only looking for a friend again. He said he seemed to agree then we said goodnight and he said se you i just said night and didn't address the see you part much. I think it's worth to metion that i haven't met people online and then met them before ( i was somewhat 'sheltered' aka. my parents had to always know where who i was with and when i would return). I don't know if i should meet this guy? I talked with a close friend about it and she said i should do it, at the end of the day since i live in a foreign country and plan to live for the next 2 years and with the restrictions being so tight i haven't met many colleges from my university, all things taken into consideration she said it would be a bad idea to make friends and since we seemed to be on the same page it would be a problem. I'm still a little doubtful about it though maybe it's just because i haven't met people i only knew online before. P. s. i think i forgot to say but our conversation was mainly focused on why we were here what we are studying and such and some point he also said i was interesting which i really don't know how to interpret. And right after that he asked how do you say we go out next week for some drinks?

If anyone read all of this thank you so much and i really appreciate your opinion, i wanna know what it seems from someone else's point of view.

Please think about this carefully before you answer the poll. It could very well affect what happens here. Guy actually had considered that maybe he should bring this to the attention of someone, I guess short of the police because who wants to do that. But do you think that he really should be punished for this?

There were no pictures exchanged but the chats were very sexual sometimes. person that was 17 was a moderator on this website and they're trans. There's more information about the guy but I'm afraid that it's going to influence people to unfairly want to see him punished for something that he hasn't done. Not this but for having underage attractions and other deviant behavior that was with adults and had just not crossed the line enough for charges.

I think someone else is going to have to make the call IF that's what my/someone's final decision. Please think this out before you vote. Not that I'm not just going to do whatever the poll says ( or maybe i should) but going to jail is a big deal. Especially for someone who hasn't been in trouble like the guy here. We had been dating for a year, but things were not official until few months ago. He only started to meet my friends/family when we became an item. Now that things are official, I thought he would be open-minded about meeting his circle. Sadly, it seems like
he’s not very into inviting me to meet his circle of people. But all his friends and family knows about me, and that we are in a relationship.

I met his family during Christmas holiday, but it was kind of forced. He initially did not plan to include me. I was kind of not happy about that because he already met my family during the holiday. It’s also lockdown over here, and it has been depressing. He also had met both my best friends. He mentioned his parents got me a gift too. I gave him a chance to invite me by asking him if I’m coming... since “we” bought the gifts together. I also paid half and my name was on the card.
The way he responded was basically saying if I want to go, then go. It wasn’t him really “wanted” to include me at first. Things will get really upsetting and awkward if he still does not invite me. In the end, he felt I was being awkward , and he encouraged me to go. I met his family, and it was really great!

He was having a zoom meeting with his friends. He was the one who initiated for me to come quickly say Hi to see meet them online. After a chat for few minutes, they mention to quickly meet up on the weekend for a birthday. I assumed that I was invited because his friends were saying “you guys”. Yesterday, he mentioned that he was texting his friends what “HE” will be doing tomorrow for the birthday with his friends. It doesn’t sound like he was including me.

On top of everything, he is currently staying at my place. He had his parents to come pick him up at my place, and having me stay at home doing nothing. His parents probably would of find it weird and ask about the girlfriend. I am assuming his friends are picking him up from my place tomorrow. How do I talk to him about this?
