Went to a family friends bbq this afternoon, my friends sons former girlfriend has 4 kids. Ages 6,3,2 and 1. The one year old has a rash on her butt so bad that her skin is bleeding, the sores are. After our friend whose 64 told the mom, her excuse is the baby is allergic to everything. Ok yes, understand but treat the rash, heal the rash. Take diaper off and put shorts on, and watch the rash.
It's really that she never tends to them. I was there for maybe 4 hours, the mom never once took the 2 youngest out of a stroller, checked diapers/ pull ups or took the 2 yr old to the potty, she gave them milk which they each had when I got there. When we started eating she fixed her plate sat down started eating her food. Didn't sit beside the 2 in the stroller, didn't feed any of her kids.
After we ate it started raining the dad put the stroller with 2 yr old in it on the porch where she couldn't see the group of people. Poor baby was crying as she was left all alone so I moved the child to where she could at least see the other people. Never fed her kids, changed them no nothing. So yea, I'm pissed. Would y'all have fixed the younger kids a plate and fed them? Would you have said something else to the parents? The mom never talked to her kids, never played any attention to them or anything. Then would cuse them if they didn't listen to her! I wanted to say lots but didn't say too much cause of all the kids and other people there, didn't want to show my ass. How would you have handled it?
