My first dip into getting really personal with my GaG peers, and some of it was good, some of it was bad, and some of it was ugly. I'm going to remove myself from the equation and ask the above question with a poll option.

Background:
I had asked a question about if my dream proposal was too demanding. My boyfriend had been asking what I wanted, but I didn't tell him my 'dream' proposal because I didn't want to inconvenience him. Basically I had dreamt of being surprised with a rescue pet and on their collar tag it would say 'will you marry me?' Da-Da-Daaaaaaaa. I was called pathetic, told to fuck off, and that I was lucky any guy would want to marry me. I updated in a rush, I was pretty pissed, and used a few more curse words than I'm proud of.

This is the update I would have put if we weren't limited to 2 a week.
Guys and Gals, update b/c last was in the moment, some of you were super helpful, and I appreciate that. This is my real life. Not everyone is going to agree, I get that, and maybe I was too vague and came across as superficial. But I'm not, reread and see that (?), I don't mean to come across as such. But if you're mean to me on purpose, you will get meanness back. There are always trolls, no surprise. But for every real person who was a dick on purpose, THANKS! Aren't you just a peach.

I'm no saint. But excuse me if I've missed a critical social cue, haha. Because I'm genuinely curious.

I've lost my first lovedcause he cheated, and I'm at the age where people are asking when I'm getting married.
It frustrates cause I don't feel like meeting another guy , I literally imagined marrying the first love and I feel like I will never find another.

Will this feeling change?
