Search Results: being friends with an ex

Okay, it's complicated here we go.

I was an intern (left the company a month ago) and she's at managerial position in a different company (although we're almost around the same age in our 20s). We used meet for work meetings like once a month (for like 3 months), we were nice to each other and have small talks. Later I discovered that she's literally perfect & everything although with some imperfections with which I'm ready to accept her anyways because why not.
A little context here, I'm an Indian dude in 20s and have been single my entire life living in a big city yet unable to find anyone cool like her ever. 😐

Why I'm being hesitant about this? Cause it's kind of a big deal -

A. She's out of my league in almost every way from job, lifestyle, values, etc. 😖
B. She seems very classy, career oriented, cultured, mannered, positive, real, pretty, lively and original in ways I never was but also knows how to lookout for herself, has good sense of humour and takes no shit. 😥
C. I found out that me & her are somewhat different in qualities yet kinda compatible. Also, I'm depressed & jobless due to the current pandemic recession situation and trying to get out of this low point in my life. 😷
D. We haven't communicated since a month now and I don't know if we could be friends. P. S. I've always had a small circle, while she has like a thousand followers on Instagram. 😓
E. Most importantly, I don't know whether or not she's in a relationship currently and I don't know what to do about that. 🤔

Men, in what ways have you experienced blatent sexism? Where if it happened to a woman there would be outrage..

I can give 3.
1. I experienced extreme domestic violence from an ex.. I have scars on my face to prove it. When I reported it, I was threatened with arrest, and asked what I did to deserve it..

Had a woman experienced that none of that would have happened.

2. When I was younger, one of my favorite places to eat lunch was at a local park.. I liked the birds, the environment, and it's awesome to see kids play.. Twice I had the cops called on me because they thought I was a pedophile, or I was making people uncomfortable.. Every time the cops agreed with me, I was just eating and reading...

This would never happen to a woman..

3. I was hanging out with a friend of mine on a few occasions.. His wife is dead.. He has an 11 year old daughter.. On several occasions we had women.. Yes WOMEN pull her away from her dad and we would hear them ask her "is he abusing you, you can tell me I promise" or the cops would be called on him and he would be reported for being a predator and a kidnapper...

None of this would happen to a woman..
