I was on a date tonight. Okay.. technically it was a friendship date. We agreed to meet up and hang out at a coffee shop. At the coffee shop we sat next to each other on a long bench in the center of the area. We connected on a pretty deep level. We wound up chatting for 2 hours.

We were chatting and a preppy, young college couple sat across from us at the bench. Because we were seated at the same bench, I'm pretty sure the entire table could hear our conversation, including this couple.

The guy just continued doing work on his computer with his headphones on. The girl seemed to be doing work on her computer but she kept looking at us while we were talking. I am convinced that she was pretending to have headphones on and was just eavesdropping on on conversation across the bench. We were in close proximity because we at opposite end of the long part of the table rather than the ends.

When we started getting into deeper conversation, all of a sudden the girl across from us stretched out her arms and hugged her boyfriend sitting next to her. She was kind of completely leaning over him on the bench in a kind of possessive or territorial way. We continued our conversation and about an hour later, the eavesdropping girl took her headphones off while we were talking. It was clear she was once again listening even more intently while pretending to work. Suddenly college girl was stretching out her arms again. This time kind of loudly moaning and reaching across the table to hug her boyfriend. Her boyfriend was ignoring her most of the time and just typing. Then she kissed him on the cheek.

What was up with that this eavesdropping girl hanging over her boyfriend in front of us like that? Do girls sometimes get jealous eavesdropping on other dates? I am just wondering if hot college girl thought I was attractive or just insecure about her boyfriend not giving her attention.

Basically, I met this girl at an amusement park (we go to different schools so I didn't see her irl that often), told her I like her (romantically) at a football game (being bold af) she said I was cute but she couldnt be in a relationship because he parents are strict, we talked everyday for a month on sc and sent lots of back and forth pics (like shower towel pics in bed pics stuff like that none completely nude but she was teasing it) , I was the one carrying the convo/ flirting mostly, she said I love you first (don't know if friend way or boyfriend way), we hung out yesterday at a carnival with 3 other guys (her friends) and she was the only female, aka center of attention smh, she was digging the attention from those thirsty ass dudes and (high-key) flirted w each dude throughout the night (arm around shoulder, put hands together, hugged, ONE GUY SAT IN HER FUCKING LAP AND SHE WAS INTO IT) like who tf even r they? I honestly wanted to just jump off a pier after that. I feel like I got stood up even tho she was right there the whole time, so yea I don't know man I really like this girl a lot but based on her actions irl I don't know if she likes me (at least relationship wise) back, am I in the friend zone or is she just a thot? should I just move on?
