What American Baseball team is Number One of the following two teams. This does not refer to the team as much as the ball club, so this is not a popularity question - so PLEASE do not answer the "Popular" answer but which ball club/team is the over all better team.

We've all seen or heard about a girl rejecting a guy's advance in a (to our perspective) distasteful way.

When you see an appealing female reject a guy in such a way, does observing her be distasteful and rude to that guy, turn you off of her and make her less appealing to you?

Women -

To date a woman you have to pass certain checklists

-You must be a certain physical attraction level

-You must have a certain intelligence level

-You must have a pleasant personality ( true for dating, not one night stands or flings )

-You must have a certain degree of ambition ( code word for car, money, house, pension, etc. )

-Women are the pursued and thus have the option of choice in rejection over 90% of the time

E.G Women need a decent to good looking man, who is independent and well put together to be date-able

Men

To date a man you have to pass certain checklists

-Physical Attraction is the SINGLE greatest determining factor initially, and can be the SOLE reason for choice

-Intelligence doesn't really matter

-Pleasant personality is preferred

-Men don't care about what a woman does for her career

-Men must risk ego to pursue women and will be rejected often

E.G Hot girl is more important. Cute girl + good personality may be a better option long term.

Ive seen this question asked by a lot of girls and the options are usually like hot athlete, nerdy bookworm, cute... yadyaydayda. Anyways feel free to answer with text or just poll your response.

Typical college guy basically means a guy whose personality really hasn't defined itself yet. Just does a little of everything.

You are attending a social event and you meet four equally attractive, but different individuals who catch your eye. You have an opportunity to date either one of them, however, they are friends, so you can only get to choose one. Who would you date and why? Why did you choose not to date the other three prospects? Please submit narrative in addition to the poll to reflect why you made your decision.

Prospect A: This person is the epitome of the European Standard of beauty. They are educated, accomplished, selfish, vain, self centered self serving. This person feels they are doing you a favor by agreeing to go out with you and rarely displays emotions.

Prospect B: This person does not meet the European standard of beauty but is equally physically attractive in their own way. This person is educated, accomplished, appears somewhat distant at times, compulsive shopper (even occasionally buys you gifts.) Requires a bit more "personal space" than you're generally comfortable with. Can be a bit emotional at times. This person is into you as much as you are into them, but seems a bit guarded with displaying emotions.

Prospect C: This person does not meet the European standard for beauty but is equally physically attractive in their own way. This person is educated, accomplished, mildly materialistic, has a mild flair for dramatics, sometimes places their same sex friends needs above yours, and can be somewhat controlling. This person is equally into you as you are them and can be overly emotional.

Prospect D: This person does not meet the European standard for beauty but is equally physically attractive in their own way. This person is educated, accomplished, is driven professionally to the point where they sometimes will spend less time with you than you would like due to professional pursuits. Can be a somewhat obsessive compulsive regarding some details in their life. This person values the opinions of their parents a bit too much. Lucky you! Their parents approve of them dating you. Sometimes likes to partake of hobbies that you don't particularly enjoy. This person is equally into you as you are into them and can be somewhat passionate with their emotions.

Ok sometimes women are really confusing. & I think I got a glimpse into the female mind when I read what a woman posted in a question.

"Should I pull back and hope he'll chase me? I really want to be with him and am trying hard to not let him know that"

So the question is does every woman do this?

Melowese Richardson told an Ohio television station this month that she voted twice for Obama last November. She cast an absentee ballot and then voted at the polls as well.

"Yes, I voted twice," Richardson told WCPO-TV in Cincinnati, OH. "I, after registering thousands of people, certainly wanted my vote to count, so I voted. I voted at the polls."

"I'll fight it for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama's right to sit as president of the United States," Richardson vowed when asked about the voter fraud investigation that is now under way.

"It wasn't a big deal. There was absolutely no intent on my part to commit any voter fraud," she insisted.

Richardson claimed she had submitted an absentee ballot, but was afraid her vote would not count so she also voted in person. She also said she voted in the name of her granddaughter and yet another person.

How do you not know you did anything wrong? I'm sorry but voter fraud undermines public confidence in democracy, and that's why we need, whether you are a Democrat or Republican, to root out all cases of voter fraud

What should happen to this lady? Does should it be forgotten about and dismissed or should she face jail time?

I read several questions that ask about what makes them unattractive or why can't they find the right person or why does nobody want them. I just wanted to know what makes most of us feel like we want another person. What makes you want to be in a relationship? What are you looking for? I have my own personal reason but I'm realizing that it's completely different from everyone else's. Just Curious. All the reasons are not listed in the poll.
