It's been almost 6 months since we've last talked. I recently got crutches for an ankle injury in sports. Today was the first time we've seen each other since my injury and in the hallway, it seems like he was kinda looking at me, and a little bit surprised. He's been with a few different girls since we've ended, and today, one of those girls was talking to him in the hallway. When I walked by today, I saw that he was grinning at his phone. Regardless, I was walking to my next class when my old science teacher asked me what happened. My ex was standing with his friends a door down from where I was talking to the teacher and I think he might've heard, and also other teachers teasing me to run to class. At the end of the day, I know he looked over at me again when we walked by each other in the hall. I've also noticed him and I bumping into each other more frequently, and he doesn't avoid me like he used to. He also finds ways to linger longer... like holding a door for someone, or talking to someone, or pausing.
