So there is this girl who I've been friends with for a few years now. We never really spoke to each other until a couple of weeks ago when she initiated a conversation of FB. Ever since then we've been chatting almost daily. The other day, I asked her what she was up to and she said she was watching movies with her friend and asked me if I wanted to join, which I did. In some of the conversations we have, we sort of tease each other in possibly a flirty way. i. e.. We are going to the same uni next year and we were discussing how we could share a car going there. Part of the conversation was as follows:
Me: We could even share a car, while we're at uni!!
Her: I doubt we could pack all my stuff in your car. (One eye closed, tongue out emoji)
Me: I wouldn't worry about that, there is plenty of room for everything in the back of my car (Wink face emoji)
Her: Plenty of room for "everything"? (Wink face and blushing emoji).

Yesterday I asked her if she's ever been to this new cafe that opened recently. She said no so I asked her If she wanted to try it to which she said yes to. We basically hung out for hours that day. She kept asking weird questions like "What do you think of this girl?" or "What is your type?". We obviously talked about other things too. We made each other laugh many times.

I was just wondering, what do all these mean?
Am I already in the friend zone?
If I'm not, how can I avoid it? Because I feel like Im starting to like this girl.
Can two people from different sex hang out without developing feelings for each other?
We are both 18 if that helps.
