So my SO (30 year old male) and I have been together for over 4 years now, before we dated, he would get his hair cut at a barbers, and it always looked really really nice kept well

Once we got together though, after probably the first 6 months he just would have his mother do it.

Thing is, is mother is not a hair dresser by any means. Meaning whenever he does this, it just looks awful. She gives him like these weird super short bowl cut bangs, and then cuts and shaves down the rest, it's never even and you can tell very OBVIOUSLY tell that it was an at home job.

Now I have nothing against his mother at all, honestly I bet she does better than I could do. But again, it's just like any other mother giving their 5 year old boy a bowl cut.

But I never have the heart to tell him just how awful it looks. I can also never understand how he can never see how bad it looks himself, when before we got together he always seemed so insistent on getting a specific cut from a professional.

should I say anything to him? I really don't like it, but also it's not my hair

As a girl I’m very attached to my hair, cutting all off is nightmare, guys seems to not understand 😣 it’s not society it’s just I like long hair (on myself) only, ideally on guys too my personal preference is at least short hair, no hair is turn off... sooo just a poll I wanna know what other boys and girls like 🤔
