At my new job there's a senior staff who rushes about. Been well trained for my particular job - which is a step above hers - I find her fluttering around as she does very distracting. Enough that I joked about wearing an eye patch so I couldn't see her on my right.

The boss is constantly in motion but unlike her he knows what he's doing, it comes across as controlled, etc. Not bothersome. I referred to her to my family as being in a blind panic.

Remove her and I have a very good time and can concentrate on my job - which is two-stage. Double-checking her work while finishing the task itself.

I told my significant other I was going to go visit our dogs and he replied "I'll see ya when you get back." Mind you, he always come with. I ended up asking why he wasn't going and he relied saying he didn't feel good. Later on in the night he comes and says he's going to go to his job and help his manager because she messaged needing help (it's his day off) i dont particularly like his boss because i watched her flirt with him in front on me because she didn't know who i was. But i dont make too big of a deal because it is his job. I'm just not understanding why he said he didn't feel like going with me yet he decided to go ahead and work when he didn't have to.

The others argue and fight and even shout at / with her. It's more like a tamer non-swearing version of hell's kitchen than a professional business where customer service is key. She's even done so far as to shove me out of the way.

One girl recently quit. A former employee who came to pick up goods told me she didn't miss a day since leaving. I'm fed up as the others barely answer the phone on top. And to top everything off it's minimum wage.

I could not feel more down on myself, I figured at 26 I would have established a better sense of self and accomplishment. I have a job that I enjoy doing but I don’t like my coworkers and think (well actually know) that I suck at. I go a few weeks with doing okay and then my boss brings corrections to my attention ever so often. Should that happen to someone that’s been in the field for 2 years? NO. I suck at video games but I do love them, I’ve been playing since I was 8. Should that be the case for someone that’s been playing for almost 2 decades? NO. I enjoy baking, I made banana bread today and thought I followed the steps correctly. How did it end up? Terrible. Should this be the case for someone who’s baked long enough to know better? NO. I have had cooking disasters back to back recently, I don’t know what’s going on. I’m trying new things but they’re supposed to be easy. I’m not good at anything. I cannot name one thing that I can confidently say I rock at, I don’t think I ever will. Anyone else feel this way about themselves?
