I was in the process of interviewing for an analyst position contracted to a large tech firm. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job even though my contact said I would be the right fit. That said after I found out I sent this email:

Hi [Name],

Thank you for connecting and providing me an interview for the [tech company] analyst position. Despite the interview going well, I have been informed that more highly qualified candidates were selected that matched the job description of 3-5 years of experience.

With that being said, I am interested in connecting with the other contracts you had mentioned. Can we connect to further discuss these opportunities? I am available tomorrow from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or at your earliest convenience.

I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your time and efforts.

[my name]

Do you think that was bad to send? I was very confident in sending it but, no I am starting to second ques myself :(

Despite not getting the job, I decided to reach out to my contact. I sent them this message:

Thinking over, was this email bad to send? I'm over-thinking and afraid I said something wrong

Brie Larson is an easily offended, opinionated feminist and SJW that also apparently hates white men. It seems like so many companies are hopping on the SJW bandwagon lately. I do think social equality is important but does it have to be forced on people in everything? Star Wars, Marvel, Video Games... it seems these big companies are in my opinion sacrificing good story telling to get their political message across or get virtue points from minority communities while leaving true fans that love the stories, regardless of their political beliefs, to get bad stories that aren't about the characters or the plot, only about having a woman/gay/black/any minority as a selling point. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a good story over a political message any day.

Sorry, I guess this is more of a rant than a question...
