They're all either gay, have a gf, or they're pricks!

...my question here would be what the hell is wrong with this world, but...we won't go there, that is a much deeper discussion, so what I'm trying to say is if he is a good man, and isn't gay, isn't taken, then, he WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

And even then it's okay, but he has to give the girl some incentive to go after him, something that's not just words, and silly grade school games!

Where are the boyfriend material guys hiding?

Just wanted some input please. I recently broke up (or rather on a break) with my boyfriend of 11 months. We were in a LDR and during this time he lost his job early on. Despite this set back I stuck with him, however since the majority of the duration of the relationship he's struggled and it eventually took a toll on me. I felt like I was doing everything to make sure things stayed comfortable and go smoothly. He would always try his best to be supportive and comforting but was broke and felt bad he couldn't do more to invest in our relationship. Too much for one person. In addition, he confided in me he had something to tell me but was looking for the right time to tell me. Right before we called a break, he confessed he was 7 years older than I initially thought. I was so upset because he'd been so forthcoming and honest about things I'd NEVER know about, so how could he let something like withholding his true age jeopardize our relationship? I had to wonder what else are you hiding? So after attempting to look past it ...I couldn't anymore and called for a break. So the trust factor and his lack of ability to get his own personal affairs in order were my reasons for a break. At the moment , we are both of the understanding we are single and the door is open for us to try again down the line once it's right. He has apologized and recognizes what he did and how it made me feel and how it hurt our LDR and swears he never meant to hurt me or let this get out of hand. We still communicate via email / IMs and are friendly but I feel conflicted, like maybe I should try again? or maybe best to let time tell and let him prove he can get it together? I'm confused and I think my heart is making my emotions and rational thinking go by the wayside. help!
