So I met this great guy and he is super sweet and funny. We have been talking for months and the other night, as he was leaving, he kissed me. I responded positively, but it seemed like his lips were trying to swallow mine and they were really wet. Then he tried to French, but since we have only hung out a couple of times I didn't respond to that. Later that night he messaged me saying I was a great kisser. When I finally told him the pic had offended and upset me he said 'ok. Goodbye.' I was so surprised at this blatant disrespect that I unfriended him and deleted the conversation with the pic. He messaged me the other day and said that he was sorry that he offended me. I told him that he also disrespected me and that saying 'oops. Sorry.' was like saying, 'Let's move on now. It's no big deal anyway.' He said that he was really tired and tends to not use any excess energy on anything when he feels like that. I told him that taking the time to use the excess energy makes all the difference in the world when it comes to apologies. He asked me if he could make it up to me by taking me out on a date, but I told him I already had a date on the day he mentioned. I have a very difficult time trusting people after being disrespected or betrayed. It's happened so many times in my life that I don't take s**t from anyone who treats me that way. And it's really hard to trust them again as well. I'm not interested in him in that way anymore, but should I still give him a chance at just being friends? Or should I just forget about him all together?
