I've read the trolley dilemma, The "Sacrifice your own family or a stranger's family" dilemma and other dilemmas that's dark. So I got a bit inspired and wanted to ask one myself.

A = Torture or kill someone else's child in a painful agonizing way to save your own child from torture and death

B = Not torturing or killing, but your own child would get tortured to death by someone else

I've had a really nice microfiber comforter for about three years now and I've washed it, but it sucks to wash it since its so big and heavy. It feels a bit tacky on the outside (like its lived a good life) and has a slight sweat odor. Should I try and get another year out of it by (sigh) washing it again or donate it to Goodwill and buy new bedding for my place?

Another social experiment question.

Pighat is part of a cult made up of half-man / half-chimp abominations that require ice suits to live outside of the North and South Poles, appropriately dubbed the "Ice Chimps." Those suits apparently also have flying abilities.

Here's the situation:

1. Pighat is searching for some ancient Ethiopian relic that allegedly has magical properties, and thinks you know where it is. She's trying to shake you down for the information.

2. She's been chasing you through traffic.

3. You see a chance to lose her, but that requires driving like a maniac.

4. Just then, a cop car begins trying to pull you over. You have priors, and a pending court date.

Do you:

A: Stop and hope the officer is smart enough to realize your pursuer is the real danger, knowing that he might too obsessed with catching you to bother looking up, and will likely get a banana bomb to the face?

or

B: Run like hell even more, and hope the officer becomes enough of an irritant that Pighat tries to take him out with a banana grenade first, knowing that you'll probably lose in court later on as a result?

In the comic, Stacey has to face just such a dilemma. But how would you react in her shoes?

I list this as girls' behavior, because that's who I most want feedback from. But I don't mind if a few dudes chime in on what they'd do.
