One event example;
I was listen to a new song, not bying attention to the lyrics.
I was listen to this song becaise im a dreamer and i wanted to daydream with this melody playing..
I wanted to daydream about the day im gonna have kids, a 4 yr boy, sitting in the bar of my car as i drive on a country road...
But for some reasons i couldnt picture it.
The only thing i could possibly think of was a "friend'' that i did not see (or even thought of) in 6 years.
I was like "why is she in my head when i listen to that song? I haven't even seen her in almost 7 years!"
I would try as hard as i possibly could to get her out of my head while listen to that song but couldnt! The thought of her was so strong!
Couple days later i watch the music video and listened to the lyrics this time; it spoke about a daughter that lost her best friend (mother) battling cancer etc.
I decided look at her profile since she poped into my head, where i found that her mom (and best friend) has JUST died of cancer!! That song described them word for word!! And i did NOT even know her mom had cancer!
I also get lots of gut feelings and stuff usually.. Im intuitive.

If you all did not review my post from yesterday, I’ll give a brief recap. I don’t want to bombard the forum but I’m upset. I had a one on one training with my boss yesterday, we usually have one every other week and did not have one for a whole month. I told her my concerns about feeling like I lack knowledge compared to the other advisors and get corrected more. She told me that I should not jump to that conclusion and assume because it’s only going to make me feel worse.

Well this is where I have my instinct in tact. We have a new advisor starting for the military students. Today is his 2nd day and he will be shadowing the other advisors. The other advisor that started the same time as me trained him today. My boss never told me anything about having him shadow me. If I was good at what I did, they would feel comfortable with having me train him.

This is why I want to find something new, I don’t know how to approach this to my boss. Clearly, my gut is right and I’m not where I should be.
