You just feel it in your gut that the man of your life is not the same guy you fell in love with. People change but he has totally gone 180 slowly but surely on you. Here are some signs your man is falling out of love with you…
1. He is not as affectionate as before
Gone are the days when he used to grab your hand and proudly walk hand in hand with you at the mall or anywhere. He either is walking behind you, ahead of you or nowhere to be seen. He doesn’t do public display of affection anymore.
2. He is always busy
He’d rather work long hours, play online games with his gamer buddies or stay home watch Game of Thrones than go out with you on a date or to the mall or just spending time with you.
3. He is always somewhere else but with you
You come home to an empty house. He’s always AWOL. You don’t know where he is anymore.
4. He’s always out with the boys
Hanging out with his buddies has become an excessive habit that he spends more time out with them than with you.
5. He doesn’t care
He used to compliment you, ask you how your day went or comfort you when you had a stressful day but these are nonexistent now.
6. He gets impatient quick
He used to endure hours of you getting ready for a date or waiting on you trying on clothes at the mall. Now, he rushes you and even throws a temper tantrum on the way in the car by refusing to talk to you.
7. He wants to be left alone a lot
Instead of cuddling on the couch to watch your favorite shows/movies together, he’d rather be alone in the comforts of his pjs, beer and sports. Solitude in his man cave is fine, but him insisting to be left alone all the time is a red flag.
8. He is not excited to see you/be around you
He looks bored, sad, disinterested whenever you are together; a far cry from the guy who used to rush to greet you with lots of hugs and kisses. He might be physically present but mentally absent.
9. He doesn’t make a move in the bedroom
He loves his sleep more than he loves doing action with you. When you do make a move, he gives you excuses how tired he is and he needs to wake up early the next day. Ouch.
10. He doesn’t check up on you
You used to get a “good morning beautiful” text or a phone call every now and then during the day to check on you. Your phone is as empty as your love life.
11. He doesn’t argue anymore
When you are in an argument, he just lets you fight alone while he sits there with no reaction or just agrees with you to get it over with. Not because he wants to make peace but he just wants you to shut up and continue with his business ALONE.
12. He walks out after a fight
Sometimes, we need to be time apart to cool off. But he walks out not to cool off and come back to make up. But he walks out to get away from your drama and you. He doesn’t come home to apologize. You won’t see him for awhile.
13. He doesn't apologize for his actions
When a man loves you, he will apologize for his actions by making it up to you. Except your man doesn’t and has no plans to do so.
14. He has another woman in his life
Obviously, not his mother or sister. But another woman who can potentially be the catalyst to break you guys up. She makes him happier nowadays. He runs to her for comfort, for solace. Sometimes he’d mention her out of the blue as a new friend and might mention her a few times more making you suspicious about a woman you've never met because he hasn't introduced you yet as his girlfriend/wife.
15. He tells you
Sometimes, he just tells you out of the blue mid argument that he is no longer in love with you and he wants out. This might come out as a bad blow but the truth is always a bitter pill to swallow than a sugarcoated lie.
There are just some of the most obvious signs that your Romeo is no longer in love/into you. But you can never be too sure until you sit down with him and have a heart to heart talk and tell him what’s bothering and hurting you about him and his actions lately. Hear his side out and maybe he is just undergoing through rough times which has nothing to do with you, you over dramatic woman! Some people handle stress differently and this is how he handle his.
On the other, maybe it’s time to smell the coffee and just sign out or make it work if you truly love him. However, if his feelings have fizzled out, there is nothing you can do to make your man stay. Let him go even if you still love him. There is nothing worse than a one sided unrequited love. Just because he’s gone, doesn’t mean your life is over. In fact, it just has begun once again - a new start for a beautiful woman like you with lots of love to give and a world of endless possibilities to explore.
