Romances don't last forever. That doesn't mean that it won't come back though. So you better have more in common than that for those in-between times.
The guy in this scenario sounds like a good person it's the woman that I'm concerned for.
My ex wife and I fell out of love we had different inrests went separate way s still got along. She thinks we became mates like flat mates I tried but we both walked away from 8 year marriage and 12 years together
Solid mytake I'll agree with all of that.. a good man, in love will be patient with her always and make her feel heard and understood
Tbh this seems sexist to me, it seems like another shaming tactic to tell men "if you care about your woman then you gotta act this way so that she knows it". Definitely many men dont care about their significant other, but being busy and less affectionate could have other reasons, such as an increase in stress in his life. And women can turn down sex whenever they want however often they want, but when men turn down sex we must be falling out of love.

@kikissss I didn't see anything about cheating in there. If he's cheating, I agree. But what if things have changed between you for whatever reason and he doesn't look forward to spending time with you because of it?

With my ex, she pushed me away and then blamed me for it. I didn't look forward to seeing her face or talking to her because there was always criticism. If I worked overtime to have extra money, I want spending enough time with family. If I spent time with family, she was bitching about money. If I didn't help inside the house, I was a lazy bum. If I did, I didn't do it right or I wasn't spending time with family. Around and around and around. She was always tired or not in the mood, but blamed me for only having sex once every three or four weeks.
Just because he's being distant doesn't mean it's his fault. And having a female friend doesn't mean he's cheating. But if you're not holding up your end of the relationship, you can't point fingers.
I understand your point. I did all the work... I didn't sleep for more than 3 hours a row for more than 13 months. Was working full time and taking care of the house and my baby. And he didn't wanted to come help at all. Would prefer to pick up a kid that wasn't his than spending time with his daughter. We are not together for 3 years now but I don't which this to anyone. i am better alone than with another kid in the house.
