I never had a girlfriend before and some girls at work say i look cute or handsome. I like this one girl at work, but she has never really complimented me while other girls have. I can make her laugh until she snorts and we both have a good time when we're together. I know every girl is different but what are some traits or actions/qualities that make you girls like a guy?

I've known a girl since we were young, we never got along to much but the few times we did we got along pretty well and she was always really nice to me. We graduated and I got to find her by accident many times in collage and we still got along pretty well, but still not to much just those little accident meetings.

I haven't seen her or spoke to her in months, suddenly she send me a text asking me to go to the movies with her, when she arrived we said hello with a kiss to the air cheek with cheek (I wanted to hug as we have sometimes but her body lenguage told me not to) then we spoke like an hour before the movie started, she told me in that hour that she would like to hang out more with me and that we should do more things together, then she told me she wanted to get a drink before the movie and she payed one for me.

When we were in the movies I noticed how she sometimes turned to look at me but when I looked at her back she would look at the movie again, she also ask me if I was liking the movie like 3 times, but I didn't see any sing of her interested in getting closer to me or something during the movie. After the movie we said goodbye, but this time she smiled at me and hugged me, I kissed her on the cheek and then we went separate ways.

My male friends said that they don't know if it was date or not, and I don't trust my female friends too much with this because I'm sure they will say yes even if they think it wasn't just to encourage me to keep trying with this girl.
