My family has their noses, up in the air about how much they think they know about me, they don't know much.
I dread going out with them, to dinner on birthdays, because my mother always to manipulate every situation that
she is not in control of paying for most of the food, she gets into a little attitude, the next day it builds up, she gets
prideful and wants to be in control of mostly everything anyway, but it irks me, because her focus is directed at me,
in everything, what I do, what websites I be on, who I date, I just want my mother to back off and focus on my younger brothers, they are always getting away with stuff and trying to divert the attention off of themselves, back on me to
keep it going, like they can't never make mistakes, for Example, If I want to boil my water for Tea a certain way, she'd
say as of this morning, "Dwaun, can I ask you a question without getting mad? Why would you need to warm up water
in the microwave, when I put on water?" I mean, why would I drink nasty Lake Michigan water? people pee in that water? This started last night, I think that everyone enjoys controlling me and telling me, how to do things and place double standards on me, my family doesn't know, how I like my water, they also, don't know, I don't like a lot of pressure being put on me and high expectations, I want to lower those expectations and stir a little distrust, I'm tired of being the "Goody-Two-Shoes," role. That gets me nowhere, this is a dirty world with dirty people and niceness is mistaken for weakeness, nobody gets that better than me, not everyone cares about random acts of kindness, why on Earth should I?
