So, I've been crushing on Thomas for almost a year. School ended June 24th and I didn't see him again until the first day on September 8th. So far things have been the same as they were and I've been pretty happy and didn't plan on telling him how I felt any time soon as I've recently developed feelings for a different Thomas in the grade above me, (the Thomas I've liked for a while is in the grade below). I'm a Freshman. I went to this huge football game last night and my friend Mia was there. She knows I like both Thomas's. She's in the same grade as the younger Thomas. She saw younger Thomas walking around and called him over. He was on the other side of the gate and she whispered to him through the gate "Madison (my name) likes you" and he was like "what?" and she repeated herself and I obviously looked really pissed and freaked out and Thomas just looked at me and broke into a smile (I didn't think it was a mocking smile by the way, it seemed genuine) and didn't say anything for a minute, staring at me and then he said "I don't like her" and then Mia screamed "He doesn't like you" at me and then I just yelled "you're an f-ing idiot, I like the Thomas in the grade above me not below me" and she played along and turned around and said "I'm just kidding Madison hates you Thomas" and he walked away. Then I told her I was mad that she told him, I've been trying to play it cool because it really seemed like he liked me last year, he would listen to me when I was sad, walk over to my house to see me, take my phone to look at my pictures, and even touched my phone in my back pockets which gave me the impression he was touching my butt. I don't know I wasn't really ready to tell him and his reaction confused me by him smiling and then staring at me like he was trying to figure out if Mia was really telling the truth for him to then say he didn't like me I don't know if that was just a cover or what. Can you please help me and tell me what you think his reaction meant?
