So, this is going to sound so stereotypical and cliche and all of that but...
my best friend i love her, she's a black girl that lives up the the sass stereotype and she has a twin brother
I've never really been to her house (for reasons she would NOT appreciate me going into) so i had never met her brother
i mean i knew she had one and i knew they were twins but i never met him
so the other day before the concert (my friend and i are both in the school band) she was playin around with my glasses (i look much prettier without my glasses) and someone told me my brother was in the hallway. he was but he left almost immediately. her brother saw me on my way back to the band room and he said i looked nice (cuz concert clothes we have to look nice) and i was like wow thanks strangers never compliment me i rarely get called pretty (thats true) and he was like wow thats mean so we were hanging out before the concert flirting with each other because he didn't know each other and didn't think we'd see each other again and he asked my name i told him i asked his and i was like uhm thats besties brothers name and i was like are you my friends twin he said yeah i was like uhmmm uh oh
so when i went to get my glasses back from her and told her what happened she was TOTALLY on board with it and i was like cool
so the next day we saw each other in the hall and were like hey and he walked me to class and we brushed hands like flirting way more obviously than the day before were both making it obvious were into each other but he's turning 17 in a week and im not turning 15 till march is this age gap okay? or weird?

So i got close with my ex's (of 1,5 years, the last half was an ldr between 2 countries) friend. I did not expect me to get close with my ex's friend at all.

He snapchatted me and skyped me a lot, and i observed that he never did that with any other girl (seen from snapchat best friends and amount of Skype contacts - only 2, the other one probably being his brother in another country).

But then he suddenly told me that he was going to rarely talk to me starting from now (this was three months ago) and he said sorry multiple times, saying that he didn't want to hurt me and he didn't want us to become enemies, he wanted us to stay friends. He said that he was confused because of the ldr situation, my ex, and his really crucial national exam coming up.

He also told me that he's never felt this way with a girl, he's never been this comfortable with a girl (he's never had a girlfriend and he's 17) but he the next day when i asked him how he felt about me, he said that "i like you as a friend, not a girlfriend. i'm sorry"

I went back to my hometown (where both my ex and this guy lives) and i met up with him yesterday because he promised to take me out. We ended up talking but having some kinda cute, nervously awkward silences, but he remembered a lot about me - he remembered about my birthday and the things i used to say to him. His friend ended up join in, and when his friend came (who is also me and my ex's friend) he was clearly less nervous & more loose

His friend brought up the topic of some girls he was flirting with, but when i saw how they talked, it was nothing like how we were, they only IM-ed and it wasn't intimate... well in my opinion, since we used to say things like "i miss you" and "goodnight"

We're planning on having a morning run with each other on Saturday (but some friends are going to join in) and i'm going to take him out soon (i made a promise)

Guys, in this case, how would you feel? Would you in this case like me or not?
