House: Cooking cleaning scrubbing boiling clothes chopping wood carrying heavy pales of water watching children changing diapers cleaning up shit serving and picking up after everyone coming in barely seeing light of day or getting fresh air.

I choose The Field.

I'm watching a program from 1800s and every day the chores based on sex, get highlighted, thats what sparked the question. Its funny bc the Men are constantly complaining about rest etc an work and justifying needing time to get out- hough they've been out all day- to relax. but the Women never stop work and never get out of the house and even if they could they are not allowed in any establishments to 'relax'. And of course they don't get respect and they get ordered around. The work the Men do does not look like work Women can not do. It is more that they are expected to remain in the house, Sometimes Women not belonging to the community nor married will work the field and go to the public house, but only when unmarried.

When we look at society, media, and even mytakes on gag we see it's all heavy aligned towards appeasing women and having good relationships towards the women.

However, there seems to be heavy neglect in maintaining good relationships towards men. Many women today believe the key to making their man happiness is just allocating out sex to them but that is very far from the truth. Our society tends to force young men to hide their emotions and we seem to forget that males are complex individuals who value other traits besides what's between a woman's legs.


Even on mother's day as a society we celebrate mothers and children are expected to show their appreciation for mothers, whether it's buying her presents or cooking her breakfast, being kind to her and showing her love. Yet, on fathers day most kids at best would show their thanks by either wishing their dad "happy father's day" or calling him and wishing him over the phone.
When we look at media tv shows/movies fathers are portrayed as incompetent and foolish. While mothers are portrayed as head of the household who should be respected.

The ratio of male to female suicide in our society today is 3.5:1. With 7 of 10 suicides being among white males.

With that being said is our society becoming more like a matriarch and we are neglecting men's happiness and maintaining good relationships with them?

So I started my job about 7 months ago and this senior guy that goes to my school is also working there. He's also in my gym class and so we quickly became friends. We talk pretty much every time we see each other but we don't text much even tho we have each others number. He teases me a lot and I tease him and at first it started off innocent enough, but now I think I like him... we're also both pretty competitive so in gym we'll tease each other and he'll tease me saying he's better than me in sports and I'll come back saying "that's funny cause I remember getting you out in kickball" and he'll say "we'll I play baseball so."and I'm like "we'll I played softball" and he'll just laugh and walk away. My boyfriend is also in my gym and they made a "pact" to get me out, no matter what. Also the other day I was going to be late to work and he offered to give me a ride, when he would have to go out of his way and drive right past where we work to come and get me.(20-30) minute drive. He'll also do things like if I'm breaking down boxes in the back and he's cooking, he will leave to come talk to me and he'll kick my boxes in a over exaggerated way and look at me and smile and walk away. But then he always comes back and apologizes and puts them back. I'm not sure he likes me because he's really sweet in general and is really nice to everyone.
