Search Results: having second thoughts

Hi guys! this story got a bit long, but I hope you're willing to answer anyway ^^

It’s about a boy from a student-popchoir that I’m in. He is the chairman of the PR-committee I’m a member of (doing stuff for the website, social media and other design stuff). I’ve known him since September, but only since a few weeks I’ve had more contact with him. Outside of the choir I don’t see or talk to him, most of our whatsapp conversations are about committee-related stuff.
I really really like him and I want to find out wether he likes me too. I think there are some signals, but I’m afraid I’m taking them the wrong way. For example: he gives me lots of compliments (mostly about how well I’ve done my assignments) and he responds to my whatsapp messages within seconds (which is saying something, because he’s busy with his medics-interships). Last week there was a halloweenparty organized by our choir. During the party he came to me and asked if I was having a good time. I said yes - then a silence - and then I felt like I had to say something so I told him that I thought he had a great singingvoice. He seemed flattered and he laughed and smiled. When I left the party he suddenly started to high-five me and he gave me a hug. He never did that before and I barely know him to be honest, which also means that I have no idea what he’s normally like. On the other hand there are signals that I’m missing.. for example: I haven’t spotted him trying to make eyecontact and he doesn’t ask me personal or silly questions. But then again, maybe he doesn't know how or he doesn't have the guts (like me). Anyway. Do you think that he was just being polite (being in his role as chairman) or was this flirting? is he going for friendship.. or could there be more?

I was paired up randomly with a guy to do lab experiments together starting from 2 months ago. He's very sociable and friendly and we've only hung out 3 times (1-1 meet up); the first time was studying in school, second time was studying in his room from afternoon till 10.30pm (and watching funny videos :D), the third time was having lunch in school + study. He was the one asking whether I was free to hang out and I readily agree to him.

Our convos are usually about common interests, studies, finding out more about each other etc, so I wouldn't consider us awkward as we don't run out of topics to talk about.

As we have our own social circles as well, during the days when we don't hang out we'll usually communicate through Instagram (replying each other's insta story) as well as Whatsapp.

I'm wondering whether he has any special feeling to me (even if there's a BIT of it) or not, because I'm growing fond of him nowadays. A little info about him would be sociable with many people and quite popular among girls. Any kind souls willing to answer my deep thoughts? :D
