And by racist, I just mean that they were raised to be against interracial relationships. They’ve never been mean or treated a black person disrespectful just for being black, but they don’t want any of their kids to date one. I never have before, but I met this guy in my college class and we hit it off. We’ve hung out for the past month and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes, he’s so fun and I’ve never fell for someone this hard. So I’m working and going to school, I stay in the dorms and so does he, so we spend lots of time together.. but when we have break I go home. I was just informed that I can no longer come home, my dad doesn’t want to see me, and my mom is heartbroken. I honestly feel that if they are really going to be like that, that I’m going to let them. I love my parents, but I don’t agree with their beliefs and color has never mattered to me. I need my parents, mostly because they were my best friends. I just feel stuck and don’t know how to go about it.

When I mean the phrase "I love you" are not your parents (taht is a different kind of love) . I mean "I love you" between a man and a woman, a gf/ to a boyfriend, a crush to anotehr crush, not even among dear Friends etc etc but never in your life you have Heard that phrase said to you EVER!!

Im one of those people., cause I had never being in a relationship in my life with noone, never dated or had boyfriend or noone cared for me enough to say those words. SO I dont even know what love is.
