So me and my ex boyfriend broke up over a month ago
He still messages and calls me often
I've never reached out to him first ever since the break up
He also initiates hanging out to the movies
So anyway he called me up randomly today and he was asking about if im dating other guys:
Him - so hows everything? Hows work?
Me - yeh good same old
Him -thats good. What other things u been doing?
Me -ah just some other things
Him - are u still watching tv shows?
Me - nah im hardly home
Him -oh busy girl huh? Youve been out dating other guys?
Me - *quiet*
Him - its ok you can tell me
Me - nah im not
Him -yea bull.. i know you're lying. You can tell me, i dont care
Me - nah why do u think i am?
Him - coz before we became exclusive, u told me that one day u kissed me and then this other guy at night on the same day
Me - oh wow u rememebered
Him - ofcourse i remembered.. but yea you can tell me seriously, coz you can do whatever you want
Does he really not care if im dating other guys?

Is it normal if my ex boyfriend wants to go to the movies with me nearly every week?

Sometimes we go for dinner as well before the movie

Because I hardly go movies with my friends and the only time I go to movies is when Im dating a guy or smthn
And he's always the one initiating contact
I always hear from him every week
he's the one that broke things off
When we were a couple, we would watch movies together everytime since we both love watching movies and tv shows

So I been inviting the guy I like or to watch movies with me. He brought me my favorite candy one when he said he wasn't going to. Last time he choice the movie and he brought one chick flick to watch. We sit in the couch pretty close and share a blanket. He doesn't go on his phone barely and when I check one thing on mine he kick it. He also put his legs on mine. And I found out he was ticklish and then he tried tickling me. But I am only ticklish in a certain spot or in a certain mood.

Once he told me I was to close so I said fine and moved over. But then he moved close to me. He not a big hugger but he hug me when he left. He bought me lunch one of times too. I think he likes me but I not sure. He is keep asking who I like and I keep telling him that he will know at some point. He also bought us popcorn before school for when we watch the movies. My guy friend won't stop saying that it was a date.
