When I move out of my parents house next year, I've made up my mind to live by myself and not get a place with a friend. I just think itll be easier to develop my own routine and schedule and not have to worry about another person tearing the place apart or whatever.

However, everyone I talk to, whether its family or friends or friends of family members, say that i should get a roommate because its less expensive, you won't be as lonely and itll be fun.

Living by myself, I will be very content (im used to staying alone) and i can still have people over whenever i want. there's another key point: whenever I WANT. there are days where i dont want to see anyone and a roommate wouldn't help with that (unless of course it was a boyfriend or something, i wouldn't mind). and who cares if its more expensive. ill be working and ill save up enough to be secure before I move out.

So, what do you think? Is it better to live with someone or alone? and what are some pros and cons of each?
