Before, we weren't really that close. He's a grade older than me, so I didn't see him or talk to him that much.
This year, we are taking the same elective and we even sit on the same table. At first, we just made polite, small talk. But as time progressed, we've become a bit more close. He's told me some funny childhood stories, I've told him some funny childhood stories, he makes me laugh, I make him laugh, and we even share the same music taste!
Now we really get along, and we've talked like this for 4 months, almost 5 now. I've been getting really happy when I arrive to my elective, because I get to talk to him. We always have a ball together, and can just talk about anything. He's also very polite to me, like a gentleman (like he offered to bring me a chair when I didn't have one, and gave me his spot when the chairs ran out), but at the SAME time teases me and jokes around with me. He always looks at my eyes when I talk to him/he talks to me. He sounds like he's showy sometimes, but I don't mind, because it's those things like: "Yesterday I ran 3 miles" or things like that.
I don't know, I've just been feeling connected in a way to him. I don't know if it's a new friendship that's forming, or if I like him.. He's just all these things, kind, smart, polite, adorable, a GENTLEMAN, and even cute.
Do I like him? AH, I don't know anymore ;-; I'm very shy, and he knows it by now. But when I'm with him, I just open up, and it's honestly the BEST feeling ever.

I recently met a guy who I fell for instantly. Our chemistry and compatibility was perfect except for one thing, our age difference. Later in life age difference become less of an issue but being that we are younger it is both legally and to some, morally wrong. Despite being hesitant and open about the fact he felt uncomfortable, he continued to see me and we both developed feelings for each other. Eventually our relationship became intimate which brought things to a whole new level. If he felt so uncomfortable why did he persist with this behavior? I felt bad for making him feel guilty but now I realize that I should not feel that way. I also am starting to realize that he may have been just using me for sex. The only reason I don't know for sure is because of the affection he showed towards me and the great friendship we were forming. On top of everything he has made it very clear that he still loves his ex girlfriend and has shares with me very personal information. Now to my question: If our age difference bothered him, why did he continue to talk and spend time with me? If it was just sex he wanted, why did he show such compassion and share personal information with me? I decided to share with him how I felt and told him it would be better to stop talking. Do you think this hurt him as much as it did for me to tell him? Thank you for your time.

I love being around other people and enjoy companionship. I enjoy the feeling of being connected with others. I like being social. I'm very outgoing. I actually prefer being around two or more people than just one-on-one. When I'm first getting to know a person of course one-on-one is better for forming a good friendship with them but I tend to eventually get bored with a person when it's just one-on-one and need to withdrawal from them for a bit to recharge my batteries. But when I'm in a small group of people I don't get that tired, drained out feeling that I get from one-on-one contact. I feel lively and don't get the need to withdrawal or recharge. Instead I get sad when I have to leave the group of people and for a while I feel like I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm an only child, though, so I'm used to entertaining myself. I'm fine with going outside by myself and bike riding or whatever and I read plenty of books and I find plenty of things to do online. But I definitely prefer being with other people and would prefer to go shopping with and outside with and be in the house with friends instead of doing things alone.

I'm not expressive at all like extroverts, though. It's hard for me to express myself even with the very few people I feel comfortable enough with to do so, and I always feel like I'm drowning in my thoughts. Like I have a LOT in my head and not enough of it is coming out.

Which one do I sound more like? Extrovert or introvert?
