Given how often I show my political side here and how I'm not shy to admit that I've never had a relationship or even been on a date, it may surprise some of you how close I am with my dog, Buddy. I got him after I finished mourning the death my dog of 12 years, Katie after having cancer for the third time last August. He's very destructive and hyper, and he doesn't get alone with Mia and Riley (my cats), but I love him very much. I haven't been working in a few months due to my car breaking so many times due to my last job, and a lung infection that took over 2 months to recover from and I'm still not there yet. So I've spent a ton of time with him, we run together, go to the park, he lies down with me, and I've been taking care of him for many months. He's very protective of me as he showed when a home nurse came and he didn't know what was happening, he barked at her and growled, jumped on the couch with me, knocked the syringes out of her hands and tried to remove my PICC line☺️. So the backstory is, I had cancer last year starting from October 13th to June 17th of this year. As a result, i got my left leg amputated. Yesterday on the 8th of November, I went to get an MRI and CT scan to see if it spread anywhere else and i got the results that it had become immune to the first chemo medicines and had spread to my right lung in two different places. The plan is that ill have to spend another 4 months on a difderent chemo and then have a surgery to get them removed, but the chances that it won't come back is less than 5%, so basically this cancer is going to keep coming back and most likely in 6 months to a year and a half, they will have spread to somewhere else and the proccess continues, and with it, drops the chance of cure each time it comes back. So my question is, Would it be too much for you to handle, or to the point where you wouldn't even attempt? Or would you still go for it? Assuming that he actually was what you look for in a guy, not just some random dude with cancer.
