Search Results: bad friend friendship

I have a 'friend' who has been a bad influence on me, unintentionally (I think) been manipulative, and I stright up have not been enjoying the company of. The problem is that he is still trying really hard to keep me as a friend, and whenever I try and drift away he starts playing the 'best friend' card. Saying how much he cares about me, and even if I'm mad he'll still be there for me, because we are bestfriends. I used to think it was sweet, but I'm starting to think he's just trying to manipulate me into staying in the relationship. He also has pressured me to try mild drugs, and blamed me for his decisions when they turned out badly.

I don't this relationship is good for me, but how do I end it? Do I be stright up or continue to fail to drift.

If you want more details I'm willing to share, but personally I think it's time to friend this thing.

My parents tell doctors often that i have sleep issues/social anxiety/learning disorders.

Reasons they believe some of it are.
-I don't speak often because I had gotten yelled at for wanting a little privacy with my old doctor, ending up with my mom yelling at me accusing me of saying bad things about them, also they changed my doctor after it too.
-I don't have friends, only because when i did have friends they didn't let me go the last few days of school so I couldn't get someone phone number and stuff.
We didn't do it during school because my family is very private, they even took a bag that a friend gave me that was supposed to be like a friendship thing instead of a bracelet it was just similar bags.
-I don't sleep well because I have to do things for my famly sometimes otherwise i sleep very well.
-They believe i am bad at school because a few times when transitioning homeschool or transitioning from public to homeschool then they would put me behind.
