A situation that I heard about yesterday got me to thinking about this.

I'm almost certain that every user on this site has heard about "not to hit girls", "hitting girls is bad", or something like that. We can probably agree that this is said because the average male is stronger than the average female (assuming they're the same age group).

The world doesn't need men to act like TOTAL caveman, bullying females over the tiniest bit of negative emotion, using physical superiority, to force them to do things/actions (not just sexual) they don't want to do.

That's why there are laws for charges such as "battery" and "domestic violence" are in place: to primarily protect women. We can most likely agree on that.

HOWEVER, there are times when a female abuses the social / legal system, thinking she can physically attack a male that she KNOWS can physically overtake her...

...

...then she hides behind this societal standard of "not to hit girls", as well as hiding behind the battery / domestic violence laws (that favor women), to avoid retaliation.

Plus, we know damn well that she would be hesitant to physically attack a FEMALE that she know can physically overtake her...

...

...so why does she feel that it's OK to attack a guy that can physically pummel her, and get a "free pass" to attempt to avoid retaliation by the male she attacked?

It's a girl I've never met before. We talked for a little bit and I asked for her number so we could go get some food sometime. As she was putting the number in my phone, she asked what my name was. how much significance does that have?

Think for a second...if she had no intentions of answering/talking to me again, why would she care what my name is? If she was only giving me her number(or a fake) to be nice so she didn't have to reject me, why would she ask for my name?

For all intensive purposes, I will refer to her as "Sarah." Not her real name. Sarah friend zoned me 10 months ago, but this year, she gives me more attention than she ever did that year. She does occasionally look at me once in a while. (Keep in mind she gave me NONE last year) When I smile at her she does smile back, but not like a huge smile, just a basic smile. She has flirted with me a few times, (commented on my strength in a flirty way) And she has started a few conversations, and said something dumb, and admitted it. She does act slightly nervous around me. But back when she friend zoned me, she gave me no attention, and I started to ignore her as well. The reason she did was primarily that word got out that I liked her and she panicked a bit, so not entirely my fault. Someone either overheard me talking or assumed it (and was right) and told her to piss me off. (Yeah I go to school with people like that) So what do you think, keep in mind that she doesn't give me CONSTANT attention, but more than she did before, and I do see her with some guys occasionally. The attention is enough for me to notice it a bit, the main thing for me is she acts a bit nervous around me at times. So answer the poll, and give me any extra details by answering. i don't know.. I'm not used being popular in the past.. at middle school I had all the girls hanging around me and even then I couldn't make a move
