I have heard some pretty girls marry ugly guys only because if he is rich. And they are not even physically attracted to the guy but he's rich and as soon as they get a chance they divorce him and demands a heavy alimony in return. And get rid of him forever.

I'm not saying all girls are like that obviously some girls will honestly reject ugly guys even though they are rich but dumb and desperate enough to marry her.
But still they say no!

I've know this girl for about 6 years since high school and we've always been in this friend group, but in the last 2 years she's been I bit more clingy ( linking arms, hand holding) and I'm completely unsure as to whether we're just really close as friends or if the are some signals I'm completely missing. I don't wanna ask directly cuz then it'd be really weird and I like our friendship. My feelings romantically are non-existent but that's not to say I wouldn't be open to it...
