Howard Jones was one of da most popular solo-artists back then, releasing a bunch of albums…and his first 2 albums were really awesome imo!

Da other 3 bands were late 80s electronica/house/dance music…all of their albums were pretty good of course :D

Comsat Angels were a post-punk band active during da 80s mostly. They didn’t have any particular/well-known hit but yet they r known and they were considered influential.

Now about fav album…didn’t have any I liked more or less …. there were good songs here and there…. but I’d go wid Fiction coz I like it’s album cover mostly LOL

A band who’s been overshadowed by Factory’s main bands Joy Divison/New Order…they had some good recording during their time but never made it big unfortunately. Started as a post-punk band and later evolved into a pop/house band by da end of da 80s…I’d choose “good together” from here!

Gang Of Four and The Chameleons were post-punk bands wid some pretty good songs out there, but The Chameleons were better imo…my fav here would be Strange Times probably.

But.. Flying Pickets were one of da grossest 80s bands I’ve ever heard…their “covers” were…ughhhhh

A bunch of kinda less known bands active in da late 80s mostly. My choice here would be “Pop Art” by Transvision Vamp and “Who The Am Dam Do You Think We Am” by Boys Don’t Cry….. they r cult classics and unfortunately not so known :|

Probably da most popular ska band…had many good albums, but their singles stand out…unfortunately their non-single album tracks weren’t as good as their singles…. but never-mind. Fav album would be "Rise & Fall"from here

The Selecter was another ska band but not so good as Madness imo…yet I’d choose ther debut if I had to choose sth

Perhaps da only known British band dat would b considered “reggae”. And generally one of da most popular bands among this genre. They had many known hits during da 80s, mostly known for their song “Red Red Wine”.

Labor Of Love would b my fav album and xept “Red Red Wine”,”She Caught The Train” was another gr8 song as well. Their debut album was nice as well!

Sure 1 of my top 10 bands ever. Squeeze have been involved wid many music styles…they started as punk-rock in their early recordings, then they become new-wave, then more synth-poppish and by da end of 80s they turned alt. rock mostly.

They’ve got a streak of awesome albums, but I’ll go wid Argybargy. Their masterpiece by far

The Motors were another late 70s-early 80s new-wave band, mostly known for their song “Airport”. They released 1 album in da early 80s, which was very good.

Cliff notes:
-went to concert alone cause no way I was missing one of my favorite bands
- while waiting in line I was bored and talked to these kids behind me, they were 15 and 16 (guy and girl, they were dating)
-turns out we have a lot ton in common
-at end of concert they ask for my number and wanna hang out some time
-texted a bit over a week and they're still down with hanging out

I feel at bit odd. I'm 22, they're 16 and 15 (and probably all have friends around that age, that may join us)

What should I do?
