I just wanted to know, what do you, dear guys and men think about the International Woman's day? Like, do You give your girlfriends flowers or celebrate it with them? Maybe do something nice for your women?
And I know that there's international Men's day too, so don't take me for a stereotypical girl. It's just, the reason why I'm asking is my boyfriend... We've been together for almost a year and every occasion that we have, I try to make it special for him. Like Valentine's day, I came over, brought him some treats and we've spend the whole day together playing his favorite video games. I do play video games with him quite often, because I know that he likes them and when I play them with him, and I love him so it's not at all a trouble for me. But today's a Woman's day and we spent some time together until the afternoon, but there was no gesture or something from him. Not a word or a flower, so I kinda feel forgotten... I don't want to dramatize, but it's sad.
So, I really hope you guys will help me with this. You know, just say what you think. Even if You think that women's day is unnecessary, I accept all opinions.

So i'm dating this guy for 5 months, we used to be classmates for over 5 years, when we took our bachelor degree, we agreed on going to the same university, but our choice was far from home, i convinced my mum, while his dad was against it, he even said some hurtful stuff like "you're ruining your future because of her", i was hurt but didn't say anything tbh.

So we're now studying in different colleges, i came back home every vacation, he never came to my place actually, i wanted to show my friends my first boyfriend, so i invited him to this event, he promised me but he didn't keep it actually and my phone was broken at that, so dumbly he sent me a text telling me not coming, then we met at night, i was upset he made me even more by saying "my dad told me that family is important than her".

These stuffs happened two months ago, the real deal now, my birthday was last January and i wanted to be my first happy birthday since my birthdays were worst as hell, well i had to came back to my university, he sent me a really cute text but he didn't give me any present, so i didn't care much but still.

i mean it's not about money, he has enough money to buy even a flower I don't know anything makes me feel special at my day, because in his birthday, i made a surprise for him and he told me that he even cried because i wanted him to feel special on his day, but nevermind.

Valentine's day came, and also he didn't even buy me anything, even it was my first valentine with me being in a relationship, i stayed at home instead of going back to my university and skipped classes for the next day for his sake and to spent it together, but we didn't because he said the weather was bad.
