For 6 months last year I dated a man on and off. Everything just flowed so natural with him, our chemistry was great. I actually liked him a lot which hadn’t happened in so many years with anyone else.
In November he told me he just wanted to be friends which I said was fine. We still hung out after that. I didn’t want to be friends with benefits though. That’s just not how I wanted it to be and I made it explicitly clear to him. Unfortunately he did not respect that boundary and betrayed my trust in him by touching me inappropriately and without my consent. I felt so violated. He did not apologize and actually made it seem like he was entitled to it. I reported him to the police and he’s well aware of that.
I haven’t talked to him since that happened almost 2 months ago. He has tried to get me to talk to him. The most recent time he told me he wants to talk, hopes to hear from me and that he really misses me. I’m so torn. Part of me misses what we had. My feelings for him were the only real feelings I had in so long. I am trying to move on from him and talk to other guys but honestly I don’t feel the motivation I felt with him. Part of me still wants him. I’m such a forgiving person and I have a feeling he would apologize if I gave him the chance. I feel like because I still have feelings for him that I can’t concentrate on anyone else.
Should I talk to him? Should I give him a chance?

Unfortunately he didn’t care about that boundary I set and he touched me inappropriately at a time when I was vulnerable. He took advantage of me and the situation. It hurt me, he betrayed my trust in him. He didn’t even apologize about it, I think he actually felt entitled to it. I reported him for it also.
He has tried multiple times to get me to talk to him. I haven’t had any contact wit him since that happened. The last time he contacted me he told me he really misses me, wants to talk and hopes to hear from me. I keep debating With myself on if I should hear what he has to say then be done with it. I’m such a forgiving person and I’m not good at holding grudges. Would you give the person who did this to you a chance to apologize and explain themself?

If someone did this to you would you give them a chance to apologize or explain themself? Or would you just completely forget about them and move on with your life? I keep on debating with myself, even though he doesn’t deserve anything from me, I keep feeling like I should talk to him.

The last thing he texted me was that he wanted to talk and he hopes to hear from me. Also that he misses me. I feel like maybe he is finally ready to apologize and admit what he did wrong. I keep debating on if I should give him the chance to apologize and see what he has to say. Should I talk to him?
I feel like I can never trust him again. And never be comfortable with him again.
